OH this is a good one. 

Hmm. Perhaps Lucy Pevensie. Partly because the books show her entire life, and it’s a very nice life. Adventurous in some parts, but also just quiet, peaceful times, too, which I would appreciate if I was really swapping lives. 

I love the Harry Potter world, but I don’t know if I’d want to be any of the characters. Not the main three—Harry has a lot of pain to go with his good, and I don’t know if I could ever live with myself if I was Ron (because I understand his jealousy, but don’t want to live with it). Perhaps Hermione, but I feel as if I lived my early life much like her, and I don’t know if I want to go back to that. Maybe I can be Pavarti Patil. She has a nice bit of exposure, participates in some of the main 3’s adventures, but doesn’t die or have horrible tragedy follow her around. Or someone on one of the Quidditch teams, like Katie Bell or Angelica or someone…

Cheat! If it was a TV show, I’d swap with Kaylee in Firefly. She gets all the adventures, less of the danger (which I would be a total wuss about), is super smart, and doesn’t have to deal with the froo-froo too much. Also, she gets Simon in the end, and that’s a pretty sweet deal. 

Here’s the real problem: people in books tend to be exciting and adventurous, and I’m pretty lazy. Also, they tend to have bad things happen to them, and I’d rather sit in the corner and avoid trouble.
